MICHELS ARRIVAL          NOVEMBER 2013

 We are expecting a new member to our Sasha Family, and it looks as if he has arrived on our front step.

Babette answers the door. “Hello Michel I am so glad to see you, we have been expecting you”.  “Are you alone? "“Yes, I was transported by my previous family.”  “I am looking so forward to meeting all of my new family and especially Lilly. 

  

“ Lilly will be so glad to see you”.  “I think she is here, the rest of the family went shopping for fabric and supplies for our new Christmas outfits.”  “Lilly wanted to stay home so she would be sure to be here when you arrived”.     

“Wait here and I will call for her.”  “Did you have a good trip Michel?” “Oh, yes Babette, it was a wonderful trip, I enjoyed seeing the snow covered mountains, and the beautiful blue sky”.

 “Hello Michel, I am Lilly and I am so glad to see that you came today, we are expecting cold weather and snow in the next day or two, and I wanted so very much for us to be able to take a hike before the storm sets in.”   “I am very happy to be here Lilly, I know we have a lot of the same interests and we will have so much fun together”. “ I am also anxious to meet the rest of the family when they return from shopping”. “You will like them Michel, we have so many great experiences”.

“Michel, would you like to go for a short hike?  Babette would be glad to keep your flag for you while we hike, would that be okay?”  “ That would be great, do you think she would mind?”  “I am sure she would be glad to.

 Babette offers to keep Michel’s flag while they hike and she waves goodbye.

“See you later.”

 Lilly offers to lead the way since Michel isn’t familiar with the area.  “Michel do you like hiking? “  “Oh, yes I do, but I haven’t had much experience with climbing on these high mountains”. Lilly tries to calm Michel of any fears he might have, and off they go.

  

“Come on Michel, you don’t need to be afraid, you can hold on to me if you get dizzy or feel like you might fall, but really you will be just fine once we get started.”  Michel rather reluctantly follows Lilly.

Michel takes a good hard look up there and asks Lilly if she thinks they should try climbing it.  “Oh, yes Michel I have climbed it many times, you will see it isn’t as hard as it looks.”

 

 They have a great time talking, laughing, and climbing.  As they near the top Lilly says."See Michel, we are nearly at the top, it wasn't so bad was it"? Michel has a big smile on his face, "I really did like it Lilly, I wasn't afraid at all, I hope we can do it again sometime".  Lilly assures Michel they will do it many more times.

 

 

 Lilly suggests they sit and rest a little before climbing back down. "Maybe we could bring a picnic lunch with us the next time we come up", Michel says. "Oh, I think that would be a great idea Michel, we will be sure to do that, but I don't think it will be until next spring because winter is setting in.

Sunday Afternoon Pictures:

Mary, Sunflower, and Prince Gregory;  Mary is her new Fall Swap outfit that Brigitte sent from Switzerlnd. Sunflower is in her new Scottish skirt, blouse and vest.  Poor Prince Gregory has to wait for his clothes until the girls are all clothed.  He is not too happy aabout it, and to have his picture taken in his underwear is just too much, I tell him he will be happy when he get new clothes.

Mary and Emily are making their cousin Nora from Germany feel welcome.  It will take a few days for her to feel at home.  Her big sister cousins are being very nice to her.

The Begining of My Sasha Diary

Since I have been unable to create a new blog with a more satisfactory name for my Sasha stories and pictures, I will just resort to using this one that I created a long time ago and just didn't use.

I plan to post pictures and stories about what my Sasha family is up too.  It is a diary that I will enjoy, and also will enjoy sharing with other Sasha lovers.

It is late tonight so I will continue on with more tomorrow.
